Ilango Gopalan, MBA

Data Specialist

Ilango Gopalan is a Data Analyst at Neighborhood Housing Services of Chicago (NHS), where he will develop insights and tell the story of the agency’s activities on the neighborhoods and the prospective homeowners that are served.  Ilango is a Purdue Boilermaker with an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.  In 2020 he completed the Thinkful (Chegg) Remote Data Science Program, focusing on transportation and crime in Chicago.  Here at IMPACT, Ilango is working with the data team to build out maps of Covid spread across various Chicago neighborhoods.  In his spare time he trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (current Purple belt) at Brazil-021 School of Jiu-Jitsu in West Town and occasionally performs at standup open mics.  Ilango is also an award winning Toastmaster.
