Susan Lopez, MD

Dr. Susan Lopez is from Chicago, she earned her undergraduate degree in Latino Studies at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. She completed medical school training at the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her Internal Medicine training at Rush University Medical Center where she is now faculty in the Division of Hospital Medicine. She has worked directly with COVID-19 patients since March 2020. She interested in addressing and improving health care disparities that affect hospitalized patients. She advocates for students who identify as underrepresented in medicine (UiM) at all levels of education. She lives in Chicago with her dog Chi.
